Resort Wear Dresses Perfect for These Bucket List Islands

We all deserve some time to relax and frolic at the beach, and we like to do while looking our very best - wearing our most beautiful resort wear dresses and swimsuits. Here are some of the world’s best island resorts and which dresses are an absolute must.

Maldives

Some of the most ravishing islands in the world can be found in the Maldives. Dazzling white shores are lightly lapped upon by crystal clear waters of luminous aquamarine color.

The Maldives is an archipelago located above the Indian Ocean and is the lowest-lying nation on the planet. It consists of 26 natural coral reefs and only rises around 3 meters above sea level ad its highest point.

Coral reefs flourish beneath Maldives’ mesmerizing waters, luring snorkelers and scuba divers from all over the globe. The uncrowded breaks are also a haven for surfers.

On land, exciting luxury resorts are great launching points for aquatic adventures or just lazing by the shore, sipping a cocktail. Due to warmer temperatures and a smaller amount of precipitation, it’s best to visit the Maldives around November to April. Be prepared, though, for it’s also the time when the archipelago is most crowded, which means room rates are also at their most expensive.

Enjoy the islands in fashion by wearing our Lauret Dress. Beautifully light and luxurious, it’s made with hand-embroidered linen and the spaghetti straps coupled with a low back zipper make it eye-catching and unique.

Palawan, Philippines

The Philippines is not a stranger to island resort awards. After all, it has more than 7,000 islands to boast of and a tropical climate that provides sun and warmth to its visitors. Palawan has one of the country’s most beautiful group of islands and its answer to paradise. Stretching from the southwest to the Borneo islands, Palawan is riddled with limestone peaks that rise from waters so clear, pictures of boats seem to float in the air. White-sand beaches adorned with rustling palms, coral reefs teeming with an amazing diversity of marine life, emerald lakes, unique wildlife – the list can go on forever. Palawan is also home to one of the seven natural wonders of the world – the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River.

Like most of the Philippines, Palawan’s dry season runs between October and May. This is the time when temperatures hover around 80 degrees Centigrade and with very little rain. Just perfect for a day or a week at the beach. Although very much accustomed to foreign visitors, Filipinos are still a bit conservative. You’d want resort wear dresses that are light and comfortable but cover more of your skin.

That makes the Georgine Dress with the matching Giselle Cardigan the perfect pair.  Light toffee color silk will feel like butter on your skin, while at the same time you're looking lovely and ready for anything!

Seychelles

Composed of 115 granite and coral islands within a relatively unspoiled archipelago East of Kenya, Seychelles is more than worth the travel because of its picture-perfect beaches and pristine waters. It’s also packed with great attractions from powdery white-sand beaches surrounded by giant boulders and lined with palm trees, to UNESCO-listed coral reefs and jungles.

Around fifty percent of Seychelles is protected, and most of its islands are sanctuaries for marine life, making them excellent snorkeling and diving sites.

Seychelles offers perfect conditions for scuba diving, wildlife watching, and sunbathing from April to October with temperatures averaging 80 degrees. If you want to enjoy more of the beach scenes, visit during spring and fall.

One of our simplest yet elegant resort wear dresses that are perfect for a visit to Seychelles is the Kate Dress. Comprised of black linen, it’s both a ready-to-wear piece or a swimsuit cover-up. You can either button it fully for a high-neck look or leave it unbuttoned for a more relaxed feel.

Santorini, Greece

Dramatic beauty is what best describes Santorini with blue-domed churches and bleached white villas tumbling down volcanic cliffs and surrounding a sea-filled caldera. Not to mention the generous spread of bougainvillea that add color to the already picturesque scenery.

If you want the most beautiful pictures on your Santorini vacation, come visit Oia and Fira. Oia is even visited by the best travel photographers in the world.

Apart from the sublime sunsets, other Santorini highlights include Perissa’s black sand beach, Ancient Thira, and the Akrotiri Archaeological Site. Sail around the amazing caldera while being surrounded by giant sea cliffs for that memorable first impression.

Santorini receives a lot of sun from May to October and more light means more gorgeous photos. Swimming on the beach is best done from June to September.
And what better to way to look picture-perfect, than in the Georgine Dress.

This dress exudes elegance, which blends well with the picturesque Santorini. Made of silk taffeta fabric with a toffee color, this dress is eye-catching yet very lightweight.
